Going to keep it to a monthly show.

We could have talked for two hours about Kickstarter. Crowdfunding using technology is just hitting the music industry and it was good to get someone like Brett on the show who has done it before. Great insights.

Re: The KickStarter Dilemma. Great episode. Lots to think about regarding crowdfunding projects.

Brett made a great point about the time and labor involved in fulfillment if your project gets fully funded. I wonder how many artists consider this. It reminds me of the complications from successful Groupon offers, when small businesses can't handle the redemption rush.

I'm looking forward to your next episode. Thanks for the shout out too, you had me blushing like a maple leaf (leaf, not hockey team member, although they have lots to blush about right now too).

Re: Podcamp Nashville 2011: Get Off the Fence and Just GO!

Great post! Great stuff! Really glad I decided to choose the topic. The majority of the class had no idea what I was talking about, but were asking a lot of good questions by the end. Lecture on Monday, QR codes showing up in the building by Wednesday. Coincidence? I think not. Thanks for helping me inspire my class!

B. I pulled it out about two sessions later and realized it was a fun experiment, so left it in another session room. Keep in mind ISM also had QR codes on our giveaways, exhibit, presentation and other collateral. We had larger link rates but in that our numbers probably rolled in some of this experiments traffic. So in short with Red Laser and other apps integrating the capability, QR's are here to stay (for a while). The new code types don't even interrupt design. Imagine snapping a new car driving by and then being linked to their site. It's coming!!!!
